The wind tunnel-tested Draper FlexShade® ZIP is a key component in making a porch or patio more comfortable, creating backyard “rooms,” or stopping glare and solar heat gain before the sunlight gets to your windows. Now thanks to the capabilities, design, and functionality of the FlexShade ZIP, it has been named a finalist for three architectural awards in the Architizer A+ Product Awards and we need your help to win!

The FlexShade ZIP is one of five finalists in three separate categories:

The jury of more than 200 who sifted through the entries and narrowed the list included representatives from Woods Bagot, Foster + Partners, Handel Architects, Perkins and Will, HOK, Gensler, and many others. Their task was to evaluate entries based on:

  • Aesthetics
  • Performance
  • Impact

Architizer is an online platform where architects connect with their peers, clients, and other stakeholders to share projects, news, and building product information.

You can help make the FlexShade ZIP a winner by clicking to vote on the categories listed above, or by clicking here and searching for the Residential Design, Commercial Design, and Fabrics & Textiles categories. You may need to create an account to vote.
